Venice Man Arrested on Child Sexual Abuse Material Charges After Local Investigation

Venice resident Dylan C. Deputy, 23, faces four counts of possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) following an investigation by the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO). Deputies executed a search warrant at Deputy’s home on Lenox Boulevard in April, leading to his arrest.

Local Law Enforcement Executes Search Warrant

On April 23, 2026, the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant at 4277 Lenox Blvd, Venice. Units from the SCSO’s Internet Crimes Against Children, Special Weapons and Tactics, and Tactical Units participated in the operation. The search warrant was served without incident.

Suspect Identified and Charges Filed

Authorities identified Dylan C. Deputy, born March 8, 2003, as the suspect in the investigation. Deputies arrested him on four separate counts of possession of child sexual abuse material. He is currently held at the Sarasota County Correctional Facility.
