Ukraine Reports Civilian Casualties, Missile Strikes

KYIV, Ukraine — Ukraine's government reported that missile and drone attacks killed at least 17 civilians and injured over 40 others. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has appealed to allied nations for additional Patriot missile interceptors.

Ukrainian officials stated Russia launched multiple missiles and an estimated 168 drones during the recent attacks. Retired Colonel Robert Hamilton, who was in Kyiv at the time of the attacks, spoke about the situation with Geoff Bennett.
