Trump Links Saudi Nuclear Deal to Israel Normalization
WASHINGTON D.C. – Former President Donald Trump stated that a proposed nuclear power agreement for Saudi Arabia hinges on the kingdom's establishment of normal relations with Israel. Trump communicated this condition online after the nuclear deal generated apprehension in Israel.
He specified that Saudi Arabia must normalize ties with Israel through the Abraham Accords. The Abraham Accords previously facilitated normalization agreements between Israel and several Arab nations during Trump's presidency.
Trump visited Riyadh on November 18, 2025, meeting with Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman. A photograph showed Trump providing a tour of the White House to the Crown Prince during this visit.
