WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump hosted Chinese President Xi Jinping at the White House on Thursday for a series of meetings focused on artificial intelligence, trade, Iran, and Taiwan. This visit marked President Xi's first trip to Washington in over a decade.
The two leaders held two separate meetings during the day. Following these discussions, both presidents delivered remarks to the press.
President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump will host a state dinner for President Xi and his delegation later on Thursday evening.
