Todd Blanche Faces Confirmation Hearing for Attorney General Role

WASHINGTON – Todd Blanche, who currently serves as the Justice Department's second-ranking official, will undergo a Senate confirmation hearing for the position of Attorney General. President Trump nominated Blanche for the department's top job.

Senators previously confirmed Blanche early in President Trump's second term. This prior confirmation allowed him to assume the role of Deputy Attorney General. His upcoming hearing will address his suitability for the Attorney General post.
