Thunder Sweep Lakers, Advance to Western Conference Semifinals
The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Los Angeles Lakers, concluding the series with a 4-0 sweep and securing a spot in the Western Conference Semifinals. The Thunder's victory makes them the second team to advance to the conference semifinals, after the New York Knicks.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 31 points in the final game, contributing significantly to the series win. Chet Holmgren added 18 points and 12 rebounds. For the Lakers, LeBron James scored 28 points, but it was not enough to avoid elimination. Anthony Davis contributed 24 points and 14 rebounds.
The Thunder now await the winner of the series between the Denver Nuggets and the Minnesota Timberwolves to determine their next opponent in the Western Conference Semifinals.
