Texas A&M Bags Third 2027 Five-Star with Kingwood OT Kennedy Brown

COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Texas A&M added elite trench talent to its surging 2027 recruiting class when five-star offensive tackle Kennedy Brown committed Sunday, becoming the program's third five-star pledge in the cycle. The 6-foot-4, 285-pound Kingwood High School junior, ESPN's No. 2 offensive tackle and No. 5 overall in the SC Next 300, picked the Aggies over finalists LSU, Florida and Tennessee after spring visits to College Station. Brown, entering his third year starting on Kingwood's offensive line north of Houston, bolsters A&M's in-state haul alongside fellow Texas offensive tackle commits Kaeden Scott (No. 137 overall) and four-star DeMarrion Johnson from Tyler Legacy.
