Tamarac House Fire: What We Know So Far

A Tamarac house fire sent one resident to the hospital Tuesday evening, but officials said no one was critically injured. This is what we know so far.

According to WSVN, firefighters responded to a home fire in the area of NW 77th St. and NW 73rd Terrace, also described as Northwest 46th Way and 44th Street. Crews found heavy smoke conditions and cut a hole in the roof to get to the flames and extinguish the fire.

One resident was rescued from the home and transported to the hospital, according to WSVN. The resident was reported to be expected to be OK.

Officials said the fire did not result in any critical injuries. The cause has not been determined and remains under investigation, according to WSVN. No suspect information or arrests were reported in the available coverage.
