Spurs Eliminate Trail Blazers, Advance to Western Conference Semifinals

The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 114-95 on Tuesday, securing a 4-1 series victory. San Antonio established an early lead, opening with a 12-2 run and extending their advantage to as many as 28 points. The Spurs shot 54.7% from the field. Victor Wembanyama led the Spurs with 17 points, 14 rebounds, and six blocks. Deni Avdija scored 22 points for the Trail Blazers, who shot 35.1% from the field and 23.4% from three-point range. Wembanyama averaged 21.0 points, 11.3 rebounds, and 4.0 blocks throughout the series. The Spurs advance to the Western Conference Semifinals, where they will face the Minnesota Timberwolves.
