At 421 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles south of Canyon City, or 10 miles south of John Day, moving north at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include... Canyon City.

This includes Highway 395 between mile markers 2 and 14.
