At 143 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Poca, or near Winfield, moving southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include... Charleston, South Charleston, Dunbar, Sissonville, and Cross Lanes.

This includes the following highways... Interstate 79 between mile markers 1 and 6, and near mile marker 8. Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 100 and 114. Interstate 64 in West Virginia between mile markers 54 and 57. Route 119 between mile markers 77 and 80.
