Skeptical About Distance Healing? Here's A Story To Inspire You!
Tallahassee residents are invited to an inspiring evening next Tuesday, April 15, at the Tallahassee Community College (TCC) Fine Arts Building auditorium. The event, titled "Skeptical About Distance Healing? Here's A Story To Inspire You!", will feature local resident and author, Dr. Eleanor Vance, sharing her personal journey and research into the often-misunderstood practice of distance healing.
Dr. Vance, a retired professor from Florida State University's Department of Psychology, will discuss her experiences and present anecdotal evidence gathered from individuals across Leon County who claim to have benefited from various forms of distance healing. The presentation aims to offer a balanced perspective, encouraging open-minded discussion rather than making definitive scientific claims.
The event is free and open to the public, starting at 7:00 PM. Doors will open at 6:30 PM. TCC's Fine Arts Building is located at 444 Appleyard Drive. Light refreshments will be served following the presentation, offering an opportunity for attendees to engage with Dr. Vance and fellow community members. This gathering is part of a series of community enrichment talks organized by the Tallahassee Public Library System in partnership with TCC.
