Don’t Miss: National Silent Disco Night. This is the one to choose if you want the full, slightly surreal experience. Arrive early enough to test all three channels before committing your personality to one. Keep one earcup slightly loose so you can hear your friends announce that they are “just getting one drink” before disappearing for forty-five minutes. The best part is that nobody can judge your song choice because everyone is living in a different musical universe.

Sleeper Event: The museum late night. It is cheaper, calmer, and sneakily more memorable than the big club version—especially if you catch a channel playing old movie soundtracks while everyone waltzes past the gift shop.
