At 141 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Kalona to near Cotter to near New London, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include... Iowa City, Muscatine, Washington, West Branch, Wapello, Columbus Junction, West Liberty, Kalona, Wellman, Lone Tree, Winfield, Riverside, Fruitland, Wayland, Hills, Brighton, Ainsworth, Grandview, Conesville, and Columbus City.
This includes Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 249 and 265.
