The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Coconino County in north central Arizona...

* Until 515 PM MST /615 PM MDT/.

* At 452 PM MST /552 PM MDT/, a severe thunderstorm was located near Desert View Watchtower, moving north at 20 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... LCR Confluence Overlook, Navajo Point, Upton Point, Sixtymile Canyon, Chuar Valley, Tanner Trailhead North, Awatubi Canyon, Malgosa Canyon, Kwagunt Valley and Salt Trail Canyon.

This includes the Colorado River between river miles 58 and 75.

This includes the following recreation areas and campgrounds... Blue Water Base Camp, Malgosa Camp Site, Opposite Malgosa Camp Site, Awatubi Camp Site, Below Awatubi Left Camp Site, Below Awatubi Right Camp Site, 60 Mile Ledge Camp Site, Old Fish Camp Site, Above LCR Camp Site, Below LCR Camp Site, Above Crash Canyon Camp Site, Crash Canyon Camp Site, Hopi Salt Mine Camp Site, Carbon Camp Site, Lava Canyon Camp Site, Palisades Camp Site, Above Espejo Camp Site, Espejo Camp Site, Comanche Camp Site, Upper Tanner Camp Site, Tanner Camp Site, Below Tanner Rapid Camp Site, Basalt Camp Site, Cardenas Camp Site, Upper Unkar Camp Site, Unkar Left Camp Site, Below Granary Camp Site, Below Granary Left Camp Site, Upper Rattlesnake Camp Site and Lower Rattlesnake Camp Site.

This includes the following swimming holes... Blue Water Base Camp.
