Severe Storms Threaten Midwest, St. Louis Region Faces High Tornado Risk

The National Weather Service issued warnings for severe storms across much of the Midwest. Forecasters said more than 64 million people face potential threats, including tornadoes and hail.

The St. Louis region is under a moderate risk designation. Meteorologists highlighted the potential for multiple strong tornadoes and large hail in that area.
