Senate Confirms Jay Clayton as New Director of National Intelligence

WASHINGTON – The Senate confirmed federal prosecutor Jay Clayton as the new director of national intelligence. This appointment places Clayton in charge of overseeing the 17 agencies that constitute the U.S. intelligence community.
