Secret Service Shoots, Kills Gunman Near White House

The Secret Service shot and killed a 21-year-old armed suspect outside the White House on Sunday. According to law enforcement officials, the individual opened fire at a security checkpoint.

A second person, believed to be a bystander, sustained injuries. Officials have not yet released information regarding the bystander's condition.
