Say It Out Loud
Titusville residents are invited to share their thoughts and concerns directly with city officials at the upcoming "Say It Out Loud" community forum. The event, designed to foster open dialogue between citizens and their local government, will take place on Wednesday, April 17, 2026, at 6:00 PM in the Titusville City Hall Council Chambers, located at 555 South Washington Avenue in the heart of downtown Titusville.
This forum provides a direct opportunity for individuals to voice opinions, ask questions, and offer suggestions on a wide range of local issues affecting Titusville. City Manager John Smith emphasized the importance of community input, stating, "We believe that effective governance is built on the active participation of our residents. 'Say It Out Loud' is a dedicated space for us to listen and understand the priorities of our community members."
Topics for discussion are open-ended, allowing residents to bring forward anything from neighborhood safety concerns and infrastructure improvements to local business development and recreational opportunities at places like Parrish Park. Mayor Sarah Jenkins is expected to be in attendance, along with several City Council members and department heads, ensuring that feedback reaches the relevant decision-makers.
Organizers encourage attendees to prepare their comments in advance to ensure clarity and conciseness, as time may be limited depending on the number of speakers. While formal presentations are not required, residents are welcome to bring any relevant materials they wish to share with city officials.
The "Say It Out Loud" forum is a recurring initiative aimed at strengthening community engagement and transparency within Titusville. Residents unable to attend the in-person event are encouraged to submit their comments in writing to the City Clerk's office prior to the meeting.
For more information, residents can contact the City Clerk's office during regular business hours.
