Sarasota residents are invited to a special "Drive-in" Movie Night hosted by the Sarasota Parks and Recreation Department. The event, part of the #FirstClassHappiness Moment series, promises an evening of family-friendly entertainment under the stars.

The free movie night is scheduled for Friday, April 17, 2026, at the Robert L. Taylor Community Complex, located at 1845 34th Street in the historic Newtown neighborhood. Gates will open at 7:00 PM, with the movie beginning shortly after sunset. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to secure a good viewing spot.

This initiative aims to provide accessible and enjoyable community activities for all ages. Participants can enjoy the film from the comfort of their vehicles, recreating the classic drive-in experience. Concessions will be available for purchase on-site.
