Rousey vs. Carano Fight Week Details Confirmed for May 16 Netflix Event

The fight week schedule for the May 16 main event between Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano has been finalized. Both fighters return to competition at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, with the full card airing live on Netflix.

Rousey competes for the first time since 2016, following two knockout losses in the UFC. Carano's last fight occurred in 2009, a Strikeforce loss to Cris Cyborg.

Fight week commences on Wednesday, May 13, with MVP open workouts at the Venice Beach Basketball Courts at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. Participants include Ronda Rousey, Gina Carano, Nate Diaz, Mike Perry, Francis Ngannou, Philipe Lins, Salahdine Parnasse, Junior dos Santos, Muhammed Mokaev, and Adriano Moraes.

On Thursday, May 14, the final Rousey vs. Carano press conference takes place at the Intuit Dome Outdoor Plaza at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. All scheduled fighters will attend, including those in featured bouts: Rousey, Carano, Ngannou, Lins, Diaz, and Perry.

The ceremonial weigh-ins, the final pre-event activity, are scheduled for Friday, May 15, at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT, also at the Intuit Dome Outdoor Plaza.

On Saturday, May 16, preliminary fights for the Rousey vs. Carano card begin at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT, broadcast on Netflix's Tudum and MVP's YouTube channel. The main card starts at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT, airing exclusively on Netflix. The main card includes Rousey vs. Carano, Ngannou vs. Lins, and Diaz vs. Perry.
