Pompano Beach Structure Fire: What We Know So Far
A fire in Pompano Beach left two people hospitalized and six residents displaced, and investigators were working to determine what sparked the blaze. This is what we know so far.
According to NBC Miami, flames broke out around 4 a.m. in Pompano Beach and involved a multi-family home, described as a quadriplex. NBC Miami also reported that two people were taken to the hospital.
A city spokesperson confirmed in a news release that six people were displaced by the fire. NBC Miami reported the same number of displaced residents, and Tapinto reported that fire marshals were investigating the cause.
The response level indicates this was treated as a significant structure fire, with investigators still trying to determine how it started. No arrests or cause have been announced in the available reports.
Dispatch records show prior incidents at the same address, including a structure fire on June 3, 2026, along with an other call on May 25 and a domestic incident on May 18.
What happens next will likely depend on the fire marshal's findings and any additional updates from city officials or responding agencies. An investigation was underway in the early reports, and officials have not yet released a final cause.
Day.News will continue to update this story as officials release more information.
