Pompano Beach Structure Fire: What We Know So Far
A structure fire was reported Tuesday night at 5340 NE 5th Terrace in Pompano Beach, and no additional official details had been released in the first minutes after dispatch. This is what we know so far.
Confirmed information remains limited. Dispatch records show the incident was reported as a structure fire at 9:38 p.m. and that Engine 102 was assigned to the call. No injuries, evacuations, cause of the fire or extent of damage have been confirmed yet.
The emergency response appears to be active but still in the early stage. A single engine assignment typically indicates firefighters were initially sent to assess conditions, begin suppression if needed and determine whether additional units are required. In residential fires, that response can expand quickly if crews report smoke, flames or trapped occupants.
Dispatch records also show a prior structure fire at the same address on May 22, 2026. That history does not indicate the incidents are related, but it does show the location has had at least one earlier fire response this year.
Officials have not yet announced whether an investigation is underway, and there is no word yet on when a fire marshal or other agency may provide an update. In developing fire calls, additional information often comes after crews secure the scene and determine whether the fire originated inside the building, on the exterior or from an electrical or mechanical source.
Day.News will continue to update this story as officials release more information.
