Poland Alleges Sabotage in Starlink Station Fire, Denmark Cites Increased Russian Threat

WARSAW, Poland — Polish officials are investigating a fire at a Starlink satellite station as a potential act of sabotage. The government stated the facility contributes to providing internet access to Ukraine.

Poland's Foreign Minister Radek Sikorski discussed the fire during an interview with the Gazeta Wyborcza daily newspaper, published Sunday. "The fire at a Starlink station... We assume, unfortunately, that it was sabotage," Sikorski said.

Separately, Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen issued a warning on Monday regarding an increased Russian threat. Poulsen spoke at a conference in Copenhagen focusing on the security situation in Denmark and Europe.

"The Russians have increased their activity in the Baltic Sea and around Denmark," Poulsen stated. He added, "We see them challenging us in hybrid ways of warfare."

Poulsen's comments follow a recent report from the Danish Defence Intelligence Service (DDIS). The report detailed Russia's intensified efforts to undermine European stability, including operations targeting critical infrastructure and attempts to influence political processes.
