Pentagon Reports No Plans for Military Presence at November Polling Sites

WASHINGTON – The U.S. military does not plan to send personnel to polling sites, nor does it intend to seize ballots or voting machines in November, General Dan Caine said. The general provided this information while responding to questions from a senator.

Caine, representing the Pentagon, outlined the institution's position on potential military involvement during the upcoming election period. His comments specifically addressed concerns about the deployment of military members to locations where citizens cast their votes. Additionally, he clarified the military's non-involvement in the handling or collection of election materials, such as ballots and voting equipment.
