Pembroke Pines Churches Announce Holy Week and Easter Service Times

As Holy Week commences, several Pembroke Pines churches have announced their schedules for services leading up to and including Easter Sunday, March 31st. Residents planning their observances can find a variety of options across the city's family-friendly neighborhoods.

St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, located at 701 N. Hiatus Road, will hold Holy Thursday Mass of the Lord's Supper at 7:00 PM on March 28th. Good Friday services, including the Celebration of the Lord's Passion, are scheduled for 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM on March 29th. The Easter Vigil will take place at 8:00 PM on Saturday, March 30th, with Easter Sunday Masses at 7:30 AM, 9:00 AM, 10:45 AM, and 12:30 PM.

Over at Pembroke Pines United Methodist Church, situated at 10500 Taft Street, Maundy Thursday service is set for 7:00 PM on March 28th. A Good Friday Tenebrae Service will be held at 7:00 PM on March 29th. Easter Sunday will feature two services: a traditional service at 9:00 AM and a contemporary service at 11:00 AM, both celebrating the resurrection.

Calvary Chapel Pembroke Pines, found at 16900 Pines Boulevard, a main thoroughfare in the city, will host a Good Friday service at 7:00 PM on March 29th. Easter Sunday services are planned for 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM, with a special children's program available during both services.
