Pembroke Park Mobile Home Fire: What We Know So Far
A mobile home fire in Pembroke Park was brought under control without injuries, and investigators are now working to determine what sparked the blaze.
According to NBC Miami, Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue said firefighters responded at about 9 a.m. to a residential structure fire at 3150 W. Hallandale Beach Boulevard in the La Siesta Mobile Home Park, though the available reporting appears to describe a different address than the one in the original dispatch. NBC Miami reported that heavy smoke was coming from the front of the mobile home when crews arrived.
Two residents evacuated safely before firefighters reached the scene, and no injuries were reported, according to NBC Miami. The fire was extinguished in about 20 minutes, and crews kept it from spreading to two nearby homes, the report said.
About 40 firefighters responded, according to NBC Miami, indicating a significant initial response for a residential fire. The report said a downed power line near the home led investigators to believe lightning may have contributed to the fire, but officials had not released a definitive cause at the time of reporting.
According to NBC Miami, the State Fire Marshal is investigating the incident and authorities had not released additional information on how the fire started.
Dispatch records show a prior structure fire at this address on June 4, 2026.
What comes next is a formal cause determination from the State Fire Marshal, along with any updates from Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue on damage, origin and whether the reported lightning strike was a factor.
Day.News will continue to update this story as officials release more information.
