Pasco County Maintains Two Permanent 24/7 Self-Serve Sandbag Stations for Flood Preparedness

Hudson residents preparing for potential flooding can access two permanent, self-serve sandbag stations maintained by Pasco County. These stations operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, providing a continuous resource for property protection.

The two permanent locations are the Public Works C-Barn at 30908 Warder Road in San Antonio and the Magnolia Valley Golf Course at 7223 Massachusetts Avenue in New Port Richey. Residents must bring their own shovels to fill sandbags at these sites. Sand is restocked daily, weather permitting, to ensure availability.

An additional sandbag site, which was located at Veterans Park in Hudson at 14333 Hicks Road, closed on July 20 at 5 p.m. This temporary site had opened on July 17 in anticipation of heavy rain and potential river and inland flooding.
