Pasco County Offices Closed Monday, September 7, 2026, for Labor Day; Services Resume Tuesday

The Pasco Board of County Commissioners (BCC) offices, along with other county facilities, were closed on Monday, September 7, 2026, in observance of Labor Day. This closure included Pasco County Parks, Recreation, and Natural Resources’ Offices, Recreation Complex buildings, Community Centers, and all Pasco County Libraries. Pasco County Public Transportation (GoPasco) also suspended services, including fixed route and demand service. The Pasco County Animal Services Administration Office, Adoption Center, Intake/Reclaim Shelter, and Field Services were closed, though an Animal Control Officer remained available for emergencies. Additionally, the Pasco County Resource Recovery Facility, West Pasco Class III, and the East Pasco Transfer Station were closed to the public but remained open for Pasco County licensed commercial haulers. While offices and facilities were closed, parks and beaches remained open to the public from dawn to dusk, and athletic parks were accessible until 10 p.m. All government offices reopened on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
