Orlando Public Library Enhances Digital Offerings for Residents

Orlando, FL – April 8, 2026 – The Orlando Public Library, a cornerstone of community learning and engagement in the City Beautiful, announced today a significant expansion of its digital resources and a new series of technology workshops designed to empower local residents. These initiatives aim to bridge the digital divide and provide accessible learning opportunities for all.

Starting this month, library cardholders will have access to an enhanced collection of online databases, e-books, and audiobooks, covering a wider range of subjects from professional development to leisure reading. The first workshop, 'Getting Started with Your Computer,' is scheduled for Wednesday, April 15, at 10:00 AM in the library's computer lab. Subsequent workshops will be held weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Residents interested in attending are encouraged to register in advance due to limited seating. Registration can be completed in person at the library's front desk or by calling the library during operating hours.
