Oregon Lands No. 3 Class: Five Five-Stars Head to Eugene

The University of Oregon football program has officially capped one of the most impressive recruiting cycles in school history, landing the No. 3-ranked class in the country for 2026. Under head coach Dan Lanning, the Ducks signed five five-star prospects—more than any other program according to Rivals' rankings—fundamentally reshaping the roster for years to come.

Leading the haul is offensive tackle Immanuel Iheanacho, the No. 3-ranked OT in the class and No. 15 athlete nationally, who committed July 3, 2025. Joining him are tight end Kendre Harrison, the nation's No. 1 at his position; safety Jett Washington; wide receiver Jalen Lott; and edge rusher Anthony Jones. The class totals 17 commits, including 12 ESPN 300 selections.

Oregon also secured local talent with Tony Cumberland, a defensive lineman from Eugene's Willamette High School and the top player in the state, further deepening the defensive line. The broader group includes defensive backs Davon Benjamin and Devin Jackson, running back Tradarian Ball, and linebacker Tristan Phillips—a balanced attack across both sides of the ball.

This marks Oregon's fourth consecutive top-10 recruiting class and third straight top-five group, cementing Lanning's track record of elite talent acquisition. With 17 commits averaging 90-plus ESPN grades among the top prospects, the Ducks have positioned themselves to compete at the highest level immediately.
