Oilers Eliminated by Ducks in Six Games, McDavid Played With Foot Fracture

The Edmonton Oilers concluded their Western Conference quarterfinal series with a 4-2 loss to the Anaheim Ducks. Oilers coach Kris Knoblauch announced on Saturday that captain Connor McDavid played through a fracture in his foot and ankle region during the six-game series.

McDavid participated in all six games of the series. The Ducks advanced to the next round, eliminating the Oilers from playoff contention.
