Citrus County Notification System for Residents

Citrus County Government launched a direct notification system May 15, offering residents email and text updates on county services.

Subscribers can choose alerts on burn bans, water restrictions, county news, landfill closures, development applications, building regulation changes, transit service changes, and code compliance updates.

Residents can subscribe at citruscounty.gov/notify. The county also asks residents to complete a communications survey at citruscounty.gov/commsurvey to shape future outreach efforts.
