Joaquin Niemann cruised to a wire-to-wire victory at LIV Golf UK by JCB on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at the JCB Golf and Country Club in Rocester, England. He carded rounds of 65, 63 and 68 for a tournament total of 17-under 196, winning by three strokes over the field.[1][2] Niemann's final-round 3-under 68 featured five birdies and two bogeys, adding to his earlier 2025 triumphs in Adelaide (Australia), Singapore (Asia), Mexico City and Virginia (North America).[1][4][5]
This marked Niemann's seventh career LIV Golf individual win, tying him with Brooks Koepka for the most in league history and setting a single-season record with five victories.[2][5] The Torque GC captain now leads the 2025 LIV Golf Individual Championship standings decisively and can clinch the title at the next event in Chicago.[4] His UK win was his first in Europe, bringing professional victories on five continents, a feat shared by only Lee Westwood and Ian Poulter among LIV players.[4]
Sergio Garcia finished second at 14-under, while Talor Gooch of Smash GC took fourth at 11-under after a final-round 66, building on his recent LIV Golf Andalucia win.[2] On the team side, Legion XIII claimed victory by seven shots, their fourth of the season and eighth over two years.[2] Niemann's global dominance highlights LIV Golf's international schedule, with Torque GC also thriving in team play.[4][5]
Post-win, Niemann addressed his form in media interviews, noting the significance of the UK triumph and his earnings surpassing Scottie Scheffler's in 2025. Jon Rahm recently called him a top-10 world player, though Niemann expressed frustration over majors performance.[6] Finishing second in the 2025 individual standings, Torque GC won their first team title at LIV Golf Indianapolis before the Team Championship in Michigan.[5]
