California Governor Gavin Newsom stated he would not run for president in 2028 if Vice President Kamala Harris pursues the office. Newsom articulated this position during an interview published Saturday, June 8, where he discussed his political aspirations.

"I'm not running. I'm all in for her," Newsom told CNN regarding a potential 2028 presidential campaign. He added, "I don't know how many times I have to say it."
