Nepal Flash Floods: Death Toll Reaches 675, Thousands Remain Missing

KATHMANDU, NEPAL — The death toll from flash floods and mudslides in Nepal reached 675 on Saturday. Officials also reported 2,500 people remained missing across the country.

Among the missing individuals, authorities identified 100 American citizens. Search and rescue operations continued in affected regions.

The floods and mudslides caused extensive damage to infrastructure and displaced numerous residents. International aid organizations began coordinating with local authorities to provide assistance.
