FARGO, N.D. — The second-seeded North Dakota State Bison rallied to defeat top-seeded Oral Roberts 4-2 in the winner-takes-all Summit League Baseball Championship finale on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Tal Anderson Field in Omaha, Nebraska. This marked the program's third tournament title and the first under head coach Tyler Oakes in his fourth year at the helm. The victory avenged an earlier tournament loss to the Golden Eagles, securing NDSU's berth in the NCAA Division I regionals.

Logan Knight, NDSU righthander with a 4-6 record, set the tone earlier in the tournament, firing a three-hit shutout in a 4-0 winner's bracket win over Oral Roberts on Thursday, May 22. Knight pitched a complete game, allowing just three hits over 9.0 innings to earn the victory. The Bison, hailing from Newman Outdoor Field on the Fargo campus, have now won six conference tournament championships overall.

NDSU's baseball program, a staple of North Dakota sports pride, plays its home games at the 4,513-seat Newman Outdoor Field, which hosted the 2023 Summit League tournament after the Bison claimed their first regular-season title.
