NASA STEM Leader Elaine P. Ho Explores Aerospace Pathways at Merritt Island and Edgewood Jr./Sr. High Schools

Elaine P. Ho, Associate Administrator for NASA's Office of STEM Engagement, visited Brevard Public Schools (BPS) recently, touring Merritt Island High and Edgewood Jr./Sr. High. Her visit showcased how local students are preparing for careers in aerospace and technology.

Ho's tour highlighted the district's Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. These programs provide students with hands-on skills, creating direct pathways into Brevard County's growing workforce. The focus was on demonstrating the practical application of STEM education within the school system.

Brevard Public Schools participates in the Space Florida Academy Program.
