The Iowa Department of Natural Resources has issued flood warnings along the Mississippi River in eastern Iowa, where relentless spring rains combined with upstream snowmelt are driving water levels to dangerous heights. The National Weather Service forecasts the river will continue rising over the next one to two weeks, with confidence growing for minor to moderate flooding across much of the waterway.
