Miami House Fire: What We Know So Far
A house fire in Miami drew a major response near NW 27th Avenue, and officials said the blaze was fully involved when crews arrived. Here is what we know so far.
According to WSVN and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, responders saw heavy smoke at the scene and worked to extinguish the fire at the home. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said at least four units were on scene during the response.
No injuries were reported in the available coverage. Firefighters also said a propane tank was present at the property, and investigators were still trying to determine whether it caused or contributed to the fire.
The fire’s intensity was significant enough that Miami-Dade Fire Rescue described it as fully involved by the time crews arrived. That indicates the flames had already spread through much of the structure before firefighters began suppression efforts.
Dispatch records show prior incidents at this address on June 6, May 30 and May 25, 2026.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said the cause had not yet been determined and that the investigation was ongoing, including the question of whether the propane tank played a role. More official updates are expected as investigators continue their work.
