Merritt Island High School Band Boosters Announce Spring Fundraiser

Merritt Island High School's Band Boosters are gearing up for their annual Spring Fundraiser, a crucial event to support the school's award-winning band program on Florida's Space Coast. The fundraiser, a car wash and bake sale, is scheduled for Saturday, April 20, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the school's main parking lot, located at 100 Mustang Way.

Funds raised will go directly towards new instrument purchases, uniform maintenance, and travel expenses for competitions, including the upcoming state championships. "Our students work incredibly hard, and these funds ensure they have the resources they need to excel," stated Band Director Ms. Eleanor Vance. Local residents are encouraged to stop by, get their cars sparkling clean, and enjoy some homemade treats while supporting the talented young musicians of Merritt Island.
