Mark Sanchez Trial Delayed for Fourth Time

National Desk
April 30, 2026
The criminal trial for Mark Sanchez, former Fox Sports analyst, has been delayed for a fourth time. Originally slated to begin December 11, it is now scheduled for July 13, with a pre-trial conference on July 8. The charges stem from an October 4, 2025, altercation in Indianapolis involving Sanchez and Perry Tole. Sanchez was initially charged with multiple misdemeanors, one of which was later upgraded to a Level 5 felony, battery resulting in serious bodily injury. Tole has also filed a civil lawsuit against Sanchez and Fox Sports. Fox Sports subsequently replaced Sanchez with Drew Brees.
