Manchester Police Arrest 2 in Road Rage Shooting

MANCHESTER, N.H. (Day.News) — Manchester Police arrested Remey Ouellette, 23, and Dominik Patrick, 22, both of Manchester, following a shooting around 11:30 p.m. Monday in the Belmont and Grove streets neighborhood. Officers responded to a ShotSpotter gunshot detection alert and spotted the suspects walking away from the area within minutes, according to a police statement.

Ouellette faces a charge of first-degree assault with a deadly weapon after police detained him with a firearm in his possession. Patrick fled on foot but was captured several blocks away and charged with resisting arrest. The technology 'played a critical role,' police said, enabling a swift investigation in the densely populated West Side neighborhood.

Shortly after, officers handled a motor vehicle crash on Massabesic Street near the Speedway gas station, where they found the victim suffering a gunshot wound to his left shoulder. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Investigators linked the crash to the shooting, confirming the victim had driven away from the initial scene.

The victim told police the altercation stemmed from a road rage incident: one suspect spat on his vehicle, leading to a confrontation in which multiple shots were fired at his car, striking him. No further updates on the victim's condition were immediately available as of Tuesday.
