Man Extradited in Lake Worth Beach 2023 Homicide

Jose Castellon Jimenez was extradited to Palm Beach County on Thursday to face charges in the October 2023 death of Eullaia Castellon, whose body detectives found in a parked vehicle at the Lake Worth Tri-Rail Station.

On Oct. 22, 2023, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office began investigating Castellon as a missing person. Detectives suspected foul play and contacted the Violent Crimes Division Homicide Unit. The investigation led them to the Tri-Rail Station, where they discovered Castellon's body and opened a homicide investigation.

Investigators identified Jimenez, 43, as the suspect. He fled to El Salvador on the day of the homicide. Authorities arrested him there on April 25, 2024. The extradition process followed, concluding with his arrival in Palm Beach County this week.

Castellon was born Aug. 21, 1991. Jimenez was born Aug. 5, 1982.
