Man Arrested in Bradenton Shooting That Wounded Two
Bradenton deputies arrested 26-year-old Exzavion Richardson on charges of two counts of attempted murder, home invasion robbery, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon following a shooting Sunday that injured two people.
Deputies responded to the 3100 block of 11th Street Court East at approximately 2:15 a.m. on December 7. They found a 32-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to the face and a 41-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the chest. Both were transported to a local hospital. The woman's condition stabilized; the man was released after treatment.
Witnesses told deputies Richardson came to the residence demanding money from someone he claimed owed him. During an altercation outside, Richardson shot the man, then shot the woman. He fled before deputies arrived.
Officers located Richardson in a vehicle several blocks away during a traffic stop. Multiple witnesses identified him as the shooter. Richardson, a nine-time convicted felon, remains in custody. The investigation is ongoing.
