Man Arrested in Cape Coral Child Sexual Abuse Cases

Cape Coral detectives arrested Luis Andres De Los Santos on two counts of Lewd or Lascivious Molestation involving victims under age 12.

The Cape Coral Police Department's Special Victims Unit began investigating on April 1, 2026, after receiving a report of sexual offenses against a child. Detectives interviewed witnesses, collected physical and digital evidence, and identified two victims known to De Los Santos.

The State Attorney's Office for the 20th Judicial Circuit approved a warrant for De Los Santos's arrest. The Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested him in Fort Myers and transported him to Lee County Jail, where he remains held.

De Los Santos faces two life felony charges under Florida statute 800.04(5)(b)(1).
