This marks the first half-time show for a FIFA World Cup final. FIFA President Gianni Infantino announced the concept in March last year. The 48-team World Cup commences on June 11 across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Infantino previously stated that FIFA plans to utilize New York's Times Square during the final weekend of the tournament.
