Linn-Mar Girls Track Dominates MVC Championship in Marion

Linn-Mar High School, a member of the Mississippi Valley Conference since 1986, delivered a commanding performance at the MVC girls track championship, securing the title with 142 points. The Panthers' dominance reflects the strength of Marion's athletic program, which competes in a conference spanning eastern Iowa's major metropolitan areas including Cedar Rapids, Dubuque, Iowa City and Waterloo-Cedar Falls.

The Mississippi Valley Conference divides its competitive programs into two divisions—the Mississippi Division and the Valley Division—with assignment rotations occurring every two years. This structure ensures balanced competition across the conference's diverse membership.
