Lansing, Mich. — Lansing authorities are investigating the deaths of five individuals found along a local river trail since October. Police Chief Ellery Sosebee announced today that investigators are actively pursuing whether the fatalities are connected.
Chief Sosebee stated, "We have five deceased individuals along our river trail system since October. We are looking at these cases individually and for any connections." He did not provide further details regarding the nature of the deaths or the specific locations along the trail system where the bodies were discovered.
Investigators have not identified a suspect in connection with any of the deaths. Authorities continue their investigation into the circumstances surrounding each fatality.
