Lakeland Library Media Center to Host Spring Book Fair Next Week
The Lakeland Library Media Center is gearing up to host its annual Spring Book Fair, offering residents a chance to browse and purchase new titles while supporting local library programs. The fair is scheduled to run from Monday, April 14, through Friday, April 18, during regular library hours.
Located at 100 Main Street in the heart of historic downtown Lakeland, the Media Center will transform its main reading room into a vibrant marketplace of books for all ages, from children's picture books to adult fiction and non-fiction. Library Director Martha Jenkins expressed her enthusiasm, stating, "The Spring Book Fair is always a highlight for our community. It's a wonderful opportunity to foster a love of reading and directly contribute to the resources and events we offer throughout the year."
Proceeds from the book fair will directly benefit the Library Media Center's ongoing initiatives, including the summer reading program, technology upgrades, and various educational workshops. Residents are encouraged to stop by and discover new literary treasures.
